My Take on Brooklyn

As mention in my About Page, I was practically raised in Brooklyn. As a kid, shopping in Brooklyn was the worse especially if I went with my grandparents. We would have to park blocks away from the store that we wanted to shop in. Sometimes, we would even take car service if we knew the busy area. And If I wasn’t there to help my grandparents, they would go by themselves. So that’s where my passion comes from. It is an inconvenience for anyone but for the elderly, disabled, and families with small children it is a big hassle. Today, as a driver myself, I find it very stressful. Shopping in Brooklyn has become a gambling risk because of how scarce spots are. You are just bound to double park and pray you don’t get a ticket. It also could take me an extra thirty minutes to park and not to mention the other people who double park with their monster SUVs.
